Service Description

This is a lecture/demo-style ceramics class where we will talk about everything that is fundamental glazing your pots. This is not a hands-on workshop, so you will not be working with clay. We discuss; What is glaze and why does it come in different forms? What are different decorating materials that can be used in combination with glaze? What should I be looking for when purchasing glaze? And more! (We will also lightly touch on store bought versus home made glazes and help answer the question, "Do I want to make my own glaze?")
