Learn Gloria’s techniques for surface decoration based in Korean traditional celadon ware carving methods. Skills that she will cover will include sgraffito, inlay, and how to layout a complex floral design on a 3D form. Participants can bring a pre-made leather-hard form, but one will be provided for them on the day of the workshop. Basic drawing skills are helpful but not necessary to participate in this workshop. This workshop is recommended for those who have taken at least a 3-day workshop in clay, in either hand building or wheel throwing.
